Leong Sat Sing has dedicated his career to higher education. For the past seven years, he has led a university’s sustainability office, integrating sustainability into campus life and operations.

A Christian for over 45 years, Sat Sing’s faith has guided his personal and professional life. In recent years, he gained a deeper understanding of God’s mandate for creation care, and also seeing it as integral to Jesus’ prayer: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” This has strengthened his commitment to environmental stewardship as worship and obedience.

Leong has served actively in his local church, leading “Man in the Mirror” men’s discipleship groups and walking alongside men in spiritual growth. He also serves as a pre-marital counselor, helping engaged couples build Christ-centred foundations for marriage.

His life reflects the integration of faith, work, and service—showing that caring for creation, nurturing community, and strengthening families are part of living out the Gospel.
